NFF President Gusau elected WAFU B 1st Vice President

Ibrahim Gusau, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), was elected as the 1st Vice President of the West African Football Union (WAFU) B zone in Niamey, Niger Republic on Friday.

Kurt Edwin-Simeon Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association, was elected as the President of the zone, and Oumarou Sawadogo, the President of the Burkinabe Football Federation, was elected as the 2nd Vice President.

The WAFU B zone includes Nigeria, Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic, and Cote d’Ivoire.

Gusau, who became President of the NFF in September 2022, has also served on various committees within both the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
