Facebook founder and Meta chairman Mark Zuckerberg met US President-elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on Wednesday, US media reported
Zuckerberg was “grateful” for Trump’s dinner invitation and the “opportunity to meet with members of his team about the incoming administration,” according to a Meta statement quoted by various US media.
Trump adviser Stephen Miller told the Fox News channel that Zuckerberg had backed Trump during the meeting.
“Mark, obviously, he has his own interests, and he has his own company, and he has his own agenda,” Miller said. “But he’s made clear that he wants to support the national renewal of America under President Trump’s leadership.”
