Mr. Macaroni Calls Out Sanwo-Olu Over Poor Road Conditions in Lagos

In a post on his X account, comedian and activist Mr. Macaroni addressed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu directly and expressed his concerns about Lagos’ roads.

In his statement, he urged the governor to emphasize road safety and upkeep, highlighting the risks posed by potholes and deteriorating infrastructure.

In his tweet, Mr. Macaroni jokingly criticized the governor’s busy schedule, arguing that instead of focusing on welcoming the President back from overseas visits, Sanwo-Olu should take the time to inspect the condition of Lagos roads personally.

He stated, “One of these days when you are not too busy with the very serious task of going to the Airport in Abuja to welcome Mr President from an International trip, kindly take a drive around Lagos roads and let us know why the government continues to risk the lives of Lagosians.”

Mr. Macaroni emphasized the urgent need for government action, pointing out that potholes are causing accidents and jeopardizing residents’ safety.

His plea denotes a growing frustration among Lagosians regarding public infrastructure, calling for immediate improvements to prevent potential harm to lives and property.

In closing, Mr. Macaroni urged the governor to “do better,” reflecting the sentiments of many who feel that the current administration needs to prioritize the welfare of citizens over ceremonial engagements.Screenshot 20241104 101621
