Austin Eguavoen, the Super Eagles interim coach, has picked a 23-man squad for the forthcoming 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Rwanda and Benin.
Victor Osimhen and Sadiq Umar return to the Super Eagles squad as the 2013 African Champions seek to qualify for the next AFCON, which will be held in Morocco.
The Super Eagles presently lead Group D with 10 points, having taken six points from Libya. They now need one more point to qualify for next year’s AFCON.
Super Eagles full squad list:
Goalkeepers: Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, Amas Obasogie
Defenders: Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, Bruno Onyemeachi, Gabriel Osho, Victor Collins.
Midfielders: Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika, Wilfred Ndidi, Alhassan Yusuf, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru
Forwards: Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Boniface, Umar Sadiq.
The Super Eagles will face Benin on November 14, followed by a home match against Rwanda in Uyo on November 18.
