Patrick Vieira, the former Crystal Palace coach, has now stepped into a new managerial role with Italian Serie A club Genoa.
This move comes shortly after his departure from French Ligue 1 team Strasbourg just four months ago, where he only spent a year.
The Arsenal legend will be taking over from Alberto Gilardino, who is expected to be relieved of his duties after nearly two years in charge, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Genoa currently sits in 17th place in the Serie A table, with just one point separating them from the relegation zone. So far this season, they have only managed to secure two wins.
