Sharon Ooja has been driven to tears after receiving excellent feedback for her portrayal in Kunle Afolayan’s latest flick, Recall.
The film was screened on Thursday at Lagos’s 13th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF). Kunle Afolayan, Kunle Remi, Omowunmi Dada, and Keppy Bassey attended.
Sharon was not at the event, but a video of her having a video conversation with Kunle following the screening was posted on the filmmaker’s Instagram Story.
In the video, an emotional Sharon could be heard saying, “Thank you so much, I love you all, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity.”
On her Instagram Story, the actress, currently on honeymoon, expressed gratitude to her fans for the positive reviews.
She wrote: “Omg the reviews from Recall at Afrifff !! Omg I’m in tears Gosh!! Can’t wait for everyone to see it!! We made a movie!!! @kunleafo I’m so happy.”
Directed by Kunle, the movie also stars Bimbo Akintola, Tina Mba, Mama Rainbow, Keppy Bassey and Muyiwa Ademola.
