Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja has marked the first anniversary of her traditional wedding to her husband, Ugo Nwoke, with a heartfelt tribute reflecting on their journey together so far.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, June 28, the 33-year-old actress posted a video montage from their traditional wedding, which took place on June 27, 2024, and expressed deep gratitude to God for blessing her marriage.
“Happy traditional wedding anniversary to me and my husband! Thinking back to this beautiful day, I can’t help but smile!!! I had my dream traditional wedding and married my dream man,” she wrote.
Reflecting on their one year as a married couple, Sharon described their union as evidence of God’s grace and provision.
“We are pure and living evidence of God’s grace and favour. Every day, I just say silent prayers to God for the gift of a beautiful marriage because it’s only God that sustains. And where God provides, He heavily protects,” she added.
The actress went on to share how fulfilling her marriage has been and offered a prayer for others seeking meaningful relationships.
“It’s been such a blessing being married to my other half. I’m soooooo grateful to God for all He has done and is still doing for us,” she wrote.
“As I celebrate the anniversary of my traditional wedding while we count down to the white one 🤣🤣, I pray God grants you all you require and gives you a partner that not only complements you mentally and spiritually, but someone you can grow in Christ with.”
Sharon and Ugo Nwoke had a civil wedding prior to their traditional ceremony and held their white wedding on June 29, 2024. She publicly introduced her husband in March 2024, revealing they got married after dating for just two and a half months.
Since then, she has frequently spoken about her marriage as a divine testimony and often refers to her husband as her “dream man” and “Odogwu silencer.”
