Tems Tops Nigerian Grammy Nominees with Three Nods for 2025

Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, has been nominated for three Grammys in 2025, bringing her career total to eight.

According to the nominations revealed on Friday, Tems will compete against fellow Nigerian nominees Yemi Alade, Asake, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, and Rema.

Tems tops the group of Nigerian artists with three nods and joins the year’s top nominees, which include Beyoncé, who has 11 nominations.

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will celebrate music and performances released between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024.

The event will occur on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
