BREAKING: Judge leaves courtroom angrily as Yahaya Bello creates scene

Yahaya Bello

Former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who was scheduled to be presented at the FCT High Court on Wednesday, assumed responsibility for crowd control in the courtroom following Justice Maryann Anenih’s abrupt departure in frustration.

Justice Anenih, who was expected to oversee the plea of the former governor and two additional individuals, unexpectedly stood up and declared that she would not reconvene until order was restored in the courtroom.

Shortly after the judge exited, Yahaya Bello, who had been seated at the forefront of the courtroom, swiftly rose and approached the unruly assembly.

He promptly instructed his supporters and admirers to relinquish their seats and exit the courtroom.

His intervention effectively alleviated the tension, as his followers exited the courtroom one by one without any opposition.

To maintain decorum, the former governor positioned himself at the entrance of the courtroom to ensure compliance with the court’s directive by his followers.

All of his aides and supporters diligently adhered to his guidance, leaving the court in an orderly fashion.

Meanwhile, Kemi Pinheiro SAN is at the helm of the federal government’s legal team for the arraignment, whereas Joseph Bodunde Dauda SAN is leading the legal representation for the Yahaya Bello in the 16-count charges.
