Pashotah, the wife of the well-known personality Egungun of Lagos, has revealed an extortion attempt involving a private video of her husband.
On her Instagram page, she exposed screenshots of her conversations with the blackmailer who was seeking money to prevent the video’s release.
In a detailed post, Pashotah made it clear that she refused to give in to the blackmail, underscoring the trust, loyalty, and commitment in her marriage to Egungun of Lagos
“This relationship isn’t just built on love; it’s built on trust, understanding, and loyalty. We’ve been together for over 6-8 years, long before we had anything. Nothing can break us—not even this,” she wrote.
She clarified that the video in question was a private one meant for her and reaffirmed her confidence in her husband’s character, describing him as a humble and generous man.
“I won’t let this blackmailer think they can put me to shame. My husband and I know our truth. This will not break our marriage or stop me from celebrating my man,” she added.
She mentioned that the blackmailer targeted her instead of her husband in an effort to shame her.
Pashotah also mentioned that Egungun of Lagos would not be commenting on the issue publicly as she was the one being targeted, not him.
She urged their supporters to ignore the scandal, assuring them that it would not affect their relationship.
In closing, Pashotah wished her followers a joyous holiday season and hinted at an upcoming Christmas photoshoot with her husband.
