Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, has acknowledged that the team is at risk of relegation if their performance does not improve.
After suffering a 2-0 defeat against Newcastle United on Monday night, it marked their third consecutive loss in the Premier League.
Since their promotion to the old First Division in 1975, the Red Devils have managed to stay in the top flight. However, with this recent loss, Amorim’s squad is now only seven points above the relegation zone halfway through the season.
“I think that it [relegation] is a possibility and we have to be clear with our fans.
“We have to change something but this season will be really hard on everybody. It can make us stronger and we have to fight,” Amorim said.
