Jamie Foxx, a well-known American actor and musician, recently shared details about his struggle with a brain bleed that resulted in a stroke.
During a discussion about his hospitalization in 2023,Jamie Foxx revealed in a Netflix special that he had a severe headache and lost consciousness for 20 days.
He was treated at Piedmont Hospital, where the brain bleed occurred, leading to a stroke for the 56-year-old actor.
“It is a mystery. We still don’t know exactly what exactly happened to me.
“On April 11 2023, I had a bad headache and I asked my boy for an aspirin, but I realised quickly that your boys don’t know what to do when you are in a medical emergency.
“Before I could get the aspirin I went out. And i do not remember 20 days.”
Foxx said he found himself in a wheelchair and unable to walk after he woke from the coma.
