Actor and musician Jamie Foxx reportedly lost his temper after a glass bottle was thrown at rapper GloRilla during a music festival held at his Los Angeles home.
In a video shared on X, Foxx was seen onstage at SKVLK Fest — a private Halloween-themed event organised by his 17-year-old daughter, Anelise — shouting into a microphone as he addressed the shocking incident.
According to reports, the Oscar-winning actor called out a guest in the crowd for hurling the object at GloRilla while she was performing her set on Friday night.
The 57-year-old star, visibly upset, expressed his frustration and disappointment, saying:
“Why would you do something like that? Why would you throw something at the stage, man? This is for free.”
Jamie Foxx continued,
“Y’all don’t deserve this sh**. That’s f**ed up, bro. I’m so disappointed. I love y’all but hate whoever the fk that was. That ain’t cool, bro. You throw some st at my house? That ain’t cool.”
Following the incident, GloRilla briefly paused her performance but later returned to the stage to continue entertaining the audience, which consisted mainly of attendees aged between 14 and 22.
The outburst came less than a year after Jamie Foxx himself was injured by a flying glass during his birthday dinner, which left him needing stitches.
Leading up to SKVLK Fest, Jamie Foxx had taken to Instagram to celebrate his daughter Anelise’s efforts in bringing the event to life, describing it as her long-time “dream and aspiration” to host a music festival.
The event featured several high-profile performers, including GloRilla, Tyga, and Leon Thomas, making it one of the standout youth-oriented music gatherings of the Halloween season.
