Katy Perry joked about fans leaving her Jingle Bell Ball concert in New York City, suggesting the cold weather may have been the reason.
However, it turns out they were trying to catch the last train out of the city.
The pop star, who played to a celebrity-filled audience including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Martha Stewart, and James Charles, performed 12 songs with some shortened versions before closing with the hit song ‘Firework’.
As she embraces her 40s, Katy Perry, who has a daughter with Orlando Bloom, shared that she has adopted a carefree attitude and now enters her “zero f****” decade.
“A therapist told me one day, ‘No one can make you feel something about yourself that you already don’t feel about yourself’.
“So if someone says something about me that isn’t true, it doesn’t affect me because I know who I am now. I know myself better than ever.
“I care a lot about the things that are worth caring about but if someone’s not being kind or saying untrue things, then it doesn’t really matter.”
