Makhadzi Affirms Strong Bond with Master KG Despite Breakup

Makhadzi, an award-winning artist, ended an outstanding year with a show-stopping performance on Saturday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Limpopo. Her much-anticipated One Woman Show drew hundreds of spectators, marking another step in her journey to fame.

The event not only recognized Makhadzi’s musical abilities, but also highlighted her rise from humble origins to become one of South Africa’s most prominent stars. Fans and fellow musicians congratulated her on her achievement via social media.

Cassper Nyovest shared his excitement, posting, “Wow wow wow wow!!!! Congratulations to Makhadzi for filling up Peter Mokaba Stadium.” Sho Madjozi also praised Makhadzi’s hard work, saying, “This is not a label; this is sheer ambition, sheer drive, and power. An artist that is for and by the people.”

The One Woman Show featured performances from a stellar lineup of local artists, including Sho Madjozi, Nkosazana Daughter, Kharishma, Lwa Ndlunkulu, Janesh & Abi Wa Mampela, Cyan Boujee, and Zola 7, with more acts still to be revealed. The event highlighted the incredible talent within South Africa’s music scene.

Celebrating Makhadzi’s success, Cyan Boujee gifted her flowers to honour both the show’s achievement and for allowing her to be part of the performance.

Makhadzi, overwhelmed by the support, shared her gratitude on social media, writing, “I am speechless. THANK YOU SO MUCH A DREAM CAME TRUE.”

It’s clear that 2024 is set to be another incredible year for Makhadzi, who continues to inspire and entertain with her unique talent and determination.
