In a historic accomplishment, Nigeria’s delegate at the Mister International 2024 event, Samuel Nwajagu, has surpassed all competitors to claim the prestigious crown.
Samuel Nwajagu, the reigning Mr. Nigeria, is distinguished as the first Nigerian and the inaugural African to secure the Mister International title.
Nigerian model Samuel Nwajagu has made history by being the first African to earn the esteemed Mister International title.
The 16th edition of the Mister International ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand, featuring 47 participants from countries across the globe, including first-time entrants such as Cameroon, England, Benin Republic, and Mali.
The contestants engaged in a variety of activities, including a city tour, and participated in preliminary rounds that highlighted their physical characteristics, cultural outfits, and formal attire.
They were also posed questions on contemporary issues, showcasing their intellect and charm.
Nwajagu, along with Nguyễn Mạnh Lân of Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto of Indonesia, emerged as the leading finalists, with the Nigerian being declared the overall champion.
Kim Thitisan Goodburn, the 2023 titleholder, formally crowned Nwajagu as his successor.
