President Bola Tinubu has postponed Tuesday’s presentation of the 2025 national budget to both houses of the National Assembly.
The N47.9 trillion 2025 Budget was originally slated to be presented to legislators, however reports indicate that the presentation has been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
The reasons for the postponement were not immediately revealed, but a top National Assembly official affirmed that Wednesday’s presentation was mandatory.
The official stated that a statement to that effect would be formally released in a few hours.
