Trump vows to end “transgender lunacy” on day one of presidency

Trump Plans Mass Deportations and an End to Birthright Citizenship

President-elect Donald Trump pledges to address transgender issues and other conservative priorities promptly as he gets ready to take office.

During a speech at the AmericaFest conference in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump vowed to sign executive orders on his first day to put a stop to what he referred to as “transgender lunacy.”

“I will sign executive orders to end child sexual mutilation, get transgender out of the military and out of our elementary schools and middle schools and high schools,” he said.

Additionally, he committed to prohibiting transgender individuals from participating in women’s sports and stated that the U.S. government would only acknowledge two genders, male and female.

Trump, who defeated President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, criticized the current administration, promising to usher in a “new era of peace, prosperity, and national greatness” when he takes office on January 20, 2025.
