Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has refuted claims that he has already planned to depart the LaLiga team at the end of the season.
Despite rumors from Spanish radio station Onda Cero stating otherwise, Ancelotti, whose contract with Madrid extends until 2026, clarified his stance on the matter during a press conference today.
“No. I want to be very clear. I won’t decide my departure date from this club,” he said.
“I know the day will come. But when that day will come, I don’t know. I won’t decide.
“It could be tomorrow, after the next game, in a year, or in five years.”
Real Madrid are currently top of LaLiga, two points ahead of Atletico Madrid and seven clear of Barcelona.
Los Blancos have already won two trophies this campaign – the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
