Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX are set to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards, which will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on 2 February. They will be joined by other talented performers including Chappell Roan, Shakira, Benson Boone, Doechii, RAYE, and Teddy Swims.
Despite initial concerns due to the wildfire crisis in LA, the ceremony will go ahead to raise funds for wildfire relief efforts.
“The upcoming Grammy Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honouring the best in music this year, it will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need,” Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in a statement. “We are thrilled that so many artists in our community are banding together at this time to show support for their fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”
Billie Eilish Sabrina, Charli, and Chappell have had a successful year in 2024, with nominations in various categories including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Billie Eilish and Charli collaborated on the popular Guess remix, which is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. It remains to be seen whether they will perform the collaboration or their individual songs at the show.
Beyoncé leads this year’s nominees with 11, followed by Charli and Post Malone with eight.
The 2025 Grammys will be hosted by comedian Trevor Noah for the fifth consecutive time.
