John Mahama has been sworn in as the new president of Ghana in a ceremony graced by world leaders.
The former governor emerged victorious in the 2024 presidential election on December 8th, defeating Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
This marks Mahama’s return to power after previously serving as the 12th President from 2011 to 2017.
Nigerian President Bola Tinubu left Lagos to attend the inauguration in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
