GloRilla’s latest top 20 hit, ‘Whatchu Kno About Me,’ may have soared into the Hot 100’s high rankings in 2024 because of TikTok uses, samples, parodies, and covers, but 2025 delivered a remix from the most unlikely of places: the Gospel music realm.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday (January 9), Dorinda Clark-Cole – one-fourth of the legendary sibling ensemble The Clark Sisters – unveiled the latest advertisement for her beauty brand Dorrin Beauty.
Buoyed by the instrumental of Glo’s Boosie-sampling hit ‘Whatchu,’ Clark-Cole flipped some of the song’s lyrics to promote her business venture.
“Girl, I’m from Detroit / Whatchu Kno About Me / D-O-R-R-I-N / That’s me,” she rapped in the clip shared to her 517,000 followers on the platform.
Quickly gaining traction on high-profile social media pages like SpiritualWord, TheShadeRoom, TheNeighborhoodTalk, and more, the 67-year-old definitely had the net buzzing all day Friday (January 10) with overwhelmingly positive reactions to her take on the expletive-laden cut.
