David Moyes is set to be officially appointed as the new manager of Everton this weekend, as reported by The Mirror.
The former Manchester United and West Ham manager has successfully negotiated a remarkable return to Goodison Park.
Discussions between the Toffees’ new proprietors, The Friedkin Group, and David Moyes have now reached a definitive conclusion.
Moyes is expected to sign a contract lasting two and a half years, which will conclude in 2027.
His initial match will see Everton host Aston Villa in the Premier League next Wednesday.
The 61-year-old departed from the club in June 2013 to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
Throughout his 11-year tenure at Goodison Park, David Moyes managed over 500 matches and played a pivotal role in transforming Everton from relegation contenders to Champions League qualifiers in 2005.
He has been unemployed since parting ways with West Ham at the conclusion of the previous season.
Moyes is anticipated to succeed Dyche, who was dismissed on Thursday, with the team currently positioned in 16th place, just one point above the relegation zone after securing only one victory in 11 matches.
