Eric Chelle, the newly-appointed head coach of the Super Eagles, is scheduled to arrive in Nigeria on Sunday to finalize his contract.
Joining him will be three trusted assistants who have previously worked with him during his stints with the Eagles of Mali and the Algerian club, MC Oran.

At 47 years old, Chelle was appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to lead the Super Eagles on their quest to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by Canada, Mexico, and USA.
Currently, the Super Eagles have not secured a win in Group C after four matches.
When the qualifiers resume in March, the Super Eagles will be facing the Amavubi of Rwanda in an away match.
