Jessica Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, have decided to end their marriage after a decade together.
“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” Simpson told various news outlets in a statement.
“Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”
Jessica Simpson sparked split rumours in November 2024 while teasing new music.
“Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic,” she wrote via Instagram. “This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve.”
Eric, a former NFL player, sparked rumors of their split when he was seen without his wedding ring in Los Angeles just weeks after the announcement. Before getting married in July 2014, they welcomed their children Maxwell in 2012, Ace in 2013, and Birdie in 2019.
