Grammy-nominated R&B singer Keyshia Cole has unfortunately had to cancel her upcoming South African tour, which was initially set to take place later this month.
The cancellation comes after the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, which have deeply impacted the artist’s life.
In a statement to Sunday World, Glen 21 Entertainment, the tour organiser, shared that Keyshia Cole was directly affected by the ongoing tragedy and even lost her home. “She is unable to proceed with her scheduled performance.
We have been working tirelessly with her team to assess the situation. And in light of these unexpected and heart-breaking events, the difficult decision was made to call off the tour,” the statement said.
Keyshia Cole, known for her soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics about love, heartbreak, and empowerment, was set to perform in three South African cities: Cape Town, East Rand, and Pretoria. Fans who purchased tickets will be contacted via email by the end of next week with instructions on how to proceed.
