The Kano State government has revoked the operating license of actress Samha Inuwa due to her indecorous attire and dissemination of inappropriate content.
The government has also prohibited the screening of any films featuring Samha Inuwa.
This information was conveyed in a statement released by the Information Officer of the Censorship Board, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, on Saturday.
Sulaiman clarified that the actress, who had been repeatedly admonished regarding her “inappropriate attire and offensive displays,” has persistently disregarded the Board’s stipulations.
Samha has been prohibited from participating in any film projects for the ensuing 12 months.
As stated, this action was taken in response to numerous grievances lodged by the citizens of Kano concerning her behavior.
