Tina Knowles has announced that her Malibu house has been devastated in the Los Angeles wildfires.
Over the weekend, Tina had been at the bungalow celebrating her 71st birthday.
Taking to Instagram, Beyonce and Solange’s mother shared a video of dolphins swimming in the ocean – the view from her now-gone house.
“This is what I was looking at on my birthday this past weekend from my tiny little bungalow on the water in Malibu!,” she wrote alongside the video. “It was my favourite place, my sanctuary, my sacred Happy Place. Now it is gone !!”
She continued, “God Bless all the brave men and women in our fire department who risked their lives in dangerous conditions. We thank you for your dedication and bravery and for saving so many lives. This could have been so much worse without the dedication of the disaster workers and first responders.”
Tina Knowles finished her message by advising fellow LA residents to invest in an air purifier to help filter out some of the smoke that’s pervading the area.
“If in LA Please get some air purifiers for your home there is a good one on Amazon for 99 dollars. God be with us !” she wrote.
Tina Knowles is among several celebrities who have suffered the loss of their homes in the ongoing fire, including Adam Brody, Paris Hilton, Candy Spelling, and Jeff Bridges.
