Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League have been severely hampered after a 1-0 loss to West Ham over the weekend.
Despite hoping to close the gap to five points with a win, the Gunners found themselves trailing after a goal from Jarrod Bowen just before halftime.
Even with a dominant performance in the first half, Arsenal couldn’t recover and their hopes were further dashed when Myles Lewis-Skelly was shown a red card for a last-man tackle.
The defeat leaves Liverpool still eight points ahead at the top of the table, with a chance to widen the gap in their upcoming match against Manchester City.
