Alfie Haaland, the father of Erling Haaland, taunted Arsenal after their 5-1 victory over Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday. Throughout the game, home supporters heckled Haaland’s son.
Gabriel celebrated Martin Odegaard’s early goal by screaming in Haaland’s face, while Myles Lewis-Skelly mimicked Haaland’s meditation celebration after scoring Arsenal’s third goal.
After the final whistle, Kendrick Lamar’s song ‘Humble’ played in the Emirates Stadium, a nod to Haaland’s previous comments telling Arsenal to ‘Stay Humble.’
Arsenal then posted an image of Lewis-Skelly sitting down with his team-mates surrounding him, along with the comment: “This team.”
Alfie quote-tweeted that post and wrote: “«This Team» that wins everything. Ehhhhh, not.”
Despite scoring a goal for his team, Haaland’s son had a challenging day on the pitch. Thomas Partey and Lewis-Skelly quickly put Arsenal in the lead, with late goals from Kai Havertz and Ethan Nwaneri securing the 5-1 victory.
