Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also known as Eminem, an American rapper and record producer, has branded the Grammy vote and award as fraudulent.
During a recent interview, Eminem characterised the Grammy awards as bogus, claiming that winners are picked based on favouritism rather than merit.
The comment from Eminem comes after the 67th Grammy Awards, which were held on February 2, 2025, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Eminem announced that he would never attend the ceremony again, saying “no” for the next 100 million years.
In his words:
“That vote is fake as fvck, that is not a real vote, they give it to who they want to give it to. If I lose to fvcking kanye or someone that I’m like okay, I respect that I know who that is, and Kanye has a huge following, he made a massive impact on music, but don’t fvcking get us all here to use your selling point for your fvking show and stiff everybody every single fvking time.
Don’t ever ask me to fvcking come here again, please do not ask me, my answer is No, for 100 million years. Never again will I fvcking go to the Grammy.”
