Nigerian music executive, Eezee Tee, has broken his silence on the ongoing controversy with renowned Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, stressing the importance of transparency.
In the midst of a highly publicized dispute over contracts and accusations of financial wrongdoing, Eezee Tee and Mercy Chinwo have been in the spotlight.
Following his arrest and nine days in detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Eezee Tee spoke out about being pressured into transferring $274,000 to Mercy Chinwo in order to be released.
Highlighting the need for openness, he revealed that Mercy Chinwo still owes her previous record label a third album and multiple singles.
He also alleged that the singer engaged in financial misconduct, suggesting that the call for transparency is one-sided.
