Timini Egbuson, a popular actor, hinted that musicians do not show as much support for the movie industry as actors do for their music.
He expressed his desire for more support from musicians towards the film industry.
“[I] really wish musicians supported Nollywood the way we support their music but that’s a conversation for another day,” Timini Egbuson wrote on his X handle on Sunday.
The Nigerian film and music sectors have a strong bond, with many musicians appearing in Nollywood films and actors venturing into music.
Some actors have even collaborated with musicians, while actresses have been featured as vixens in music videos.
