During a pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester United’s game against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, manager Ruben Amorim emphasized the need for the club to offload players.
The Portuguese commented on the Red Devils’ transfer situation, highlighting their lack of attacking reinforcements in the January window.
Speaking about transfers for Man United, Amorim said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “Here it’s simple: to do something we need to SELL players.
“You know the rules better than me, so our focus is to win these games and then we have time to focus on that”.
Despite only bringing in Ayden Heaven and Patrick Dorgu, United allowed Antony to join Real Sociedad on loan.
As a result, Amorim stressed the importance of addressing their firepower issues as the team currently sits in 13th place in the Premier League table after 23 matches.
