Tinubu gives military marching order to end insecurity by 2025

President Bola Tinubu has given orders for the military to eliminate banditry and insecurity by December 2025, according to the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru.

In a widely circulated video, Badaru stated that the military will step up its efforts to crackdown on bandits, who are currently on the run until they are fully eradicated.

According to Badaru: “The bandits are now on the run, but the military will not rest until we end this thing.

“The president has given us marching orders to end insecurity in every part of our country by the end of this year.

“The Chief of Defence Staff and NSA are working tirelessly to achieve this goal, as evident in the increased pressure on all theatre operations.

“And indeed, mining activities have resumed in Zamfara, which is part of our efforts to address security concerns and ensure the safety of all areas.”
