Popular comedian and filmmaker Basketmouth has openly celebrated Victoria Eze, following her nomination for Best Writer at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
Victoria earned a nomination for her debut film, A Ghetto Love Story, which she co-wrote with Basketmouth.
Taking to Instagram, she expressed her gratitude to God and appreciation for the film’s cast and crew. She also gave a heartfelt shoutout to Basketmouth, whom she affectionately referred to as her “King.”
“AMVCA BEST WRITER NOMINEE!!! For our FIRST film?! My God! My God!! My God!!!” she wrote. “Big shoutout to the entire cast and crew of A Ghetto Love Story for bringing this film to life. Thank you, King @basketmouth, for your unwavering belief in my abilities. It means the world to me.”
Basketmouth responded in the comments, referring to Victoria as “my good thing”, while congratulating her.
“Congratulations to you, ‘My good thing,’” he wrote.
Victoria affectionately replied: “Thank you, my better thing.”
