Comedian Ijoba Lande’s wife, Darasimi, known as Dara, has publicly apologized for alleged infidelity.
The apology was made during an interview on the Talk to B podcast on Saturday.
She said, “Ijoba Lande, don’t be upset with me. I’m also begging everybody that I have disappointed and Nigerians all over the world. This is not who I am, but I did not pray to make such mistake again. And I will never walk close to it again.
“I beg you in the name of God, I’m so sorry, I’m very sorry”.
Actor Baba Tee and Mary Gold had previously asked for Lande’s forgiveness.
Ijoba Lande had called out Nollywood actor Baba Tee and others for having relationships with Dara.
While Baba Tee initially denied the claims, he later confessed to a brief sexual encounter with Dara and publicly apologized to Lande.
Mary Gold, who was Lande’s manager and Dara’s best friend, also admitted to taking Dara to Baba Tee’s house where the encounter took place. She too asked for Lande’s forgiveness.
