Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popular as Jandor, has officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) weeks after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The 2023 Lagos State PDP governorship candidate announced the news on Monday, March 17, during a press conference at his campaign office in Ikeja, Lagos. TVC and The Nation confirmed the development.
Jandor, who was a member of the APC before joining the PDP, recently met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Abuja to inform him of his decision to return to his former party.
His aide, Gbenga Ogunleye, stated that Jandor is still consulting with key political stakeholders before finalizing his next political steps.
The move marks a significant political shift in Lagos State, where Jandor had been one of the leading opposition figures during the last election.
