Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (Kogi Central) denied reports suggesting she apologized to the Senate for the incident that resulted in her suspension.
In a statement released on Monday, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan refuted the claims as untrue, emphasizing her unwavering stance on her words and actions.
She accused those spreading the misinformation of distorting the truth and misleading the public.
Despite facing pressure to back down, Akpoti-Uduaghan reiterated her dedication to advocating for the rights of her constituents and vowed not to be intimidated.
She also raised concerns about a potential campaign to silence her and urged Nigerians to be vigilant against false information.
Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan clarified that any official statements from her would only be communicated through her verified channels.
“This is not just about me; it is about the integrity of our democracy. I will not be intimidated or forced into submission through false narratives,” she stated.
