Elon Musk, the American billionaire, issued a warning on Sunday, stating that if he were to “turn off” his Starlink satellite internet system, Ukraine’s entire frontline defense system would collapse.
Elon Musk emphasized the critical role that Starlink plays in maintaining military communications in Ukraine.
In a tweet directed to X, Musk expressed his dismay at the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, stating that he is “sickened by” the prolonged violence that he believes Ukraine will ultimately lose in its war with Russia.
“I literally challenged Putin to one on one physical combat over Ukraine and my Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army.
“Their entire front line would collapse if I turned it off. What I am sickened by (Th)is years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose.
“Anyone who really cares, really thinks and really understands wants the meat grinder to stop. PEACE NOW,” Musk wrote.
These comments from Elon Musk come shortly after he referred to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as “evil” for perpetuating what he described as a “forever war” with Russia.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has been ongoing for over three years, resulting in significant casualties on both sides.
