Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has a scheduled meeting with King Charles III of England during his visit to the United Kingdom. This visit was revealed by his spokesperson, Sergiy Nykyforov.
According to BBC, he said: “We are in London.”
Zelenskyy will first meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Saturday at 17:15 GMT, followed by a meeting with King Charles III and a group of European allies on Sunday. The UK government requested this meeting.
This visit comes after Zelenskyy met with US President Donald Trump in Washington DC on Friday.
The meeting between the two leaders became heated, with the Ukrainian president accusing Russia of not honoring diplomatic agreements and the ceasefire, leading to further loss of life.
The purpose of his meeting with Trump was to sign a mineral deal that could potentially end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
However, tensions rose during the meeting, with Trump accusing Zelenskyy of trying to instigate a global conflict.
