Bobrisky, a socialite, recently shared on Instagram that he had fallen victim to a romance scam in which he was allegedly defrauded of $990.
He posted a chat and photo of the man who had scammed him, expressing shock and disbelief at the situation.
Despite never imagining himself being a victim of such a scam, Bobrisky revealed that the scammer had been pretending to be in the United States and had been in regular contact with him.
The scammer had asked for Bobrisky’s CashApp details under the guise of needing it for a deposit, which Bobrisky provided thinking he was helping a friend. However, after sending the money, the scammer disappeared and blocked Bobrisky.
