Southampton has officially been relegated from the Premier League after a 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
Their fate was sealed after a late winner from Jorgen Strand Larsen for Ipswich, followed by their defeat to Spurs.
With only 10 points after 31 games and a goal difference of -51, Southampton now holds the joint-lowest points tally at this stage on record.
With just two wins and four draws this season, the Saints have become the first team to drop down to the Championship.
