Frank Lampard is being considered for a return to Premier League management as Southampton show interest in the former Chelsea legend.
Lampard’s successful tenure at Coventry City has rejuvenated his managerial reputation after previous stints at Everton and Chelsea.
Following Southampton’s recent relegation and the departure of manager Ivan Juric, he has emerged as a potential candidate for the role as the Saints compile a shortlist for next season’s campaign.
Also under consideration are Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Röhl, Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior and former Norwich and Huddersfield boss David Wagner.
