Popular radio personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, also known as Do2dtun, criticized reality star Whitemoney for his tribal remarks at the 17th Headies Awards ceremony.
Whitemoney’s comments while accepting an award on behalf of Flavour were viewed as divisive by some viewers, who accused him of tribalism.
Do2dtun joined in this criticism, stating that the award should be celebrated by all Afrobeats fans, regardless of their tribe.
On his X handle, he wrote, “’On behalf of the Igbos.’
“I am sorry, that was so unnecessary. It didn’t need that type of narrative. It’s an award won by an African; for Afrobeat and a Nigerian. #headies2025”
