Kanye West blames Taylor Swift for not being selected to perform at Super Bowl

Kanye West ordered to pay Ex-Yeezy employees $625,000 after settling class action lawsuit

Controversial American singer Kanye West has accused Taylor Swift of being responsible for him not being chosen to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show.

In a post on X, Kanye also cited his wearing of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat as another reason for his exclusion.

The 47-year-old singer, who has since deleted the post, claimed that his encounter with Taylor Swift was one of three reasons for his non-selection.

He wrote, “I never was allowed to do the Super Bowl because of three moments. George Bush doesn’t care about Black people. The Taylor Swift movement moment. And wearing a MAGA hat.”

Kanye West was apparently referring to his clash with Taylor Swift for giving a shout out to Beyonce in her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Music Video Awards show.
