Renowned Bollywood actor, Manoj Kumar, passed away at the age of 87 in Mumbai, India, as confirmed by Dr. Santosh Shetty of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital where he was receiving treatment for age-related health issues.
His son, Kunal Goswami, also verified the news, stating that the veteran actor had been battling health issues.
Manoj Kumar, known for his patriotic films, gained fame in the 1960s and 1970s with movies like Shaheed, Roti Kapada Aur Makaan, and Kranti.
Born as Harikrishan Goswami in 1937 in Punjab, Kumar’s significant contributions to cinema earned him the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest honor in Indian film industry.
