Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has responded to a TikTok user who suggested that her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, might soon take a second wife because she is yet to conceive.
The 28-year-old shared a light-hearted post on TikTok when a follower left a harsh comment that read:
“Pregnant you no get. No worry, your husband go soon marry another wife.”
Unfazed by the comment, Mo Bimpe fired back with class and humor, posting a video of herself with a mocking soundtrack and a caption that read:
“If someone has not been treated as a scapegoat, you guys won’t rest yeah.”
Her reaction drew support from fans, many of whom praised her composure and grace under pressure.
Mo Bimpe, whose full name is Adebimpe Oyebade, tied the knot with Lateef Adedimeji in December 2021 in a glamorous wedding ceremony that was the talk of Nollywood.
The couple has been open about the pressure they face regarding childbirth, with Lateef previously revealing in a 2024 interview that Mo Bimpe often receives hurtful messages from trolls who accuse her of barrenness and predict doom for their marriage.
“It’s not fair. People need to be more sensitive. Childbirth is not something you pressure anyone about,” Lateef said in the interview.
Fans have since flooded Mo Bimpe’s TikTok with words of encouragement, reminding her that every woman’s journey to motherhood is different — and should be respected.
