It appears that lawyers are preparing to take action against Sexyy Red, as the rapper is facing serious allegations from her child’s grandmother, Nicole Barnes.
Barnes claims that Sexyy Red directed her fans to attack her at home.
Legal documents filed on March 31 detail Barnes’ allegations that in December 2024, Sexyy Red shared her address and encouraged her large social media following to break into Barnes’ home and cause harm to her and her family.
Barnes took the threats seriously and relocated from her Hazelwood, Missouri home for safety, but has struggled to find affordable housing. She has also been attending therapy sessions and is living in constant fear for her safety.
Barnes is suing for assault and infliction of emotional distress, seeking over $5 million in damages.
