Taylor Swift is reportedly pursuing legal action against Kanye West after the rapper made a series of explicit and unverified statements about her on social media, reigniting their long-standing feud with serious new allegations.
According to multiple sources, West made sexually suggestive claims involving Swift, as well as Harry Styles and Justin Bieber—remarks that Swift’s legal team is calling “defamatory and harassing.”
In response, they have issued a cease and desist letter, demanding that West immediately stop the “ongoing public slander.”
“This isn’t just Kanye gossiping. This is Kanye sexually harassing a woman, slandering her, and trying to damage her career,” a source close to Swift told reporters.
The backlash was swift and intense, with fans, public figures, and media commentators calling West’s behavior misogynistic, harmful, and dangerous—particularly in light of his history with the pop superstar. Swift’s partner, NFL player Travis Kelce, is reportedly “furious” about the situation, although he has yet to make a public statement.
The incident adds fuel to a feud that began in 2009, when West interrupted Swift’s MTV VMA acceptance speech, and was later reignited in 2016 with the release of his controversial track Famous, which included inflammatory lyrics about her.
As of now, Kanye West or his representatives have not issued any public comment regarding the legal action.
Swift’s fans have rallied behind her, flooding social media with the hashtag #WeStandWithTaylor, demanding accountability and amplifying calls for better protections for women in the entertainment industry.
